ABOUT THE JOB

Multibeam Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer, responsible for the design and development of capital equipment, vacuum chambers, and high-precision mechanical components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, development and implementation of capital/semiconductor equipment, vacuum chambers, and high-precision mechanical components.
  • Oversee, develop and integrate systems that include robotics, pneumatics, drive systems, process control systems, heat transfer, vibration control, alignment fixture, and motion control systems.
  • Teamwork role within engineering team on projects holding to a strict and highly competitive schedule
  • 3-D modeling using Pro-E/PTC Creo
  • Dynamic analysis of high-speed mechanical systems
  • Heat transfer analysis
  • Determine, establish and withhold standards
  • Advanced Problem Solving/Root cause analysis
  • Create and improve engineering documentation
  • Develop procedures
  • Hands-on activities in the cleanroom and lab

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Demonstrate good skills in communication
  • Willingness to take on new challenges
  • Ability and willingness to work hands-on in cleanroom and lab
  • Ability to influence others with ideas using supportive data
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability and willingness to fulfill a task schedule
  • Excellent ability in Pro-E/PTC Creo is a must
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, and Excel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience
  • Excellence in Pro-E/PTC Creo
